Glencoe Mountain Resort

Glencoe Mountain ResortGlencoe Mountain Resort – create your own adventure... 364 days a year.

Glencoe Mountain Resort, the Gateway to Lochaber (Outdoor Capital of the UK), is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on Rannoch Moor and offers stunning views of the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor.

In winter you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, sledging, climbing, winter walking and free access to a state of the art avalanche transceiver training park.

In summer the mountain comes alive with XC and downhill mountain bikers, walkers, climbers and people of all ages enjoying tubing or skiing on the resort's brand new dry ski slope.

For those looking for a more relaxing time, a ride on the chairlift from the resort's base station at around 1000ft up the mountain, to 2200ft – where a short walk in the summer can take you to some of the long lasting snow patches or one of the many viewpoints – is a truly unforgettable experience. The chairlift soars over a number of waterfalls and allows you to take in the stunning views across Rannoch Moor towards Buchaille Etive Mor. The area is renowned for its wildlife and is a site of special scientific interest for Golden Eagles.

Glencoe Mountain ResortThe resort has on-site accommodation in the form of 10 cosy microlodges, a large area for camping for up to 20 tents and 10 camper van hookups points. Despite their unusual location at the base of the ski centre these cabins and the camping area have the most amazing view towards Buchaille Etive Mor.

On-site facilities include showers, 2 large drying rooms and a panoramic café which serves home cooked food from 9am-8.30pm each evening. This café is fully licensed and open until later in the evening during the numerous events that are held at the centre.
