The House of Bruar Knitwear Hall is the centrepiece of our store, housing the largest collection of cashmere in the UK.
While cashmere is certainly our speciality, we also have extensive collections in lambswool, lambswool/angora blend, and our silk and cashmere ladies collection, which has proved a lasting favourite with our customers year in year out.
Our Ladieswear department is comprised of four clothing halls, with a shoe and handbag department. Our ladies tweed and country clothing department is the most comprehensive in Britain.
Our Menswear Hall is spread over four main rooms; casual wear, fine tailoring, tweeds and our outdoor clothing department, a rare treat for any lover of country pursuits sporting enthusiasts. In addition to House of Bruar collections we have many famous name collections.
With its homely 'country kitchen' atmosphere our self-service restaurant has a cosy, intimate feel that belies its 600-seat capacity.

Food Hall and Butchery
The main entrance to The House of Bruar takes you directly into our Food Hall, a true Mecca for the serious gourmet.
With a firm focus on Best of British and in particular Scottish produce, we have assembled an impressive collection of specialist foodstuffs that caters for every palate.
The Butchery has a main counter, and also a range of delicious fresh steak pies, roast beef, and cooked hams.
Our 10,000 square foot Country Living Hall is packed full of products that will brighten up your home or garden. In here departments include The Cook Shop, Basketware, Flowers, Outdoor Living and the Garden, Dog, The Pantry, Beatrix Potter and the Nursery, Joules and Crew, Country Gifts, Bathrooms and Toiletries, Lighting and Home Decoration, Aromatic Candles and the Print Gallery.
Opened in January 2013, our fishing department is staffed by experienced and passionate anglers. We have carefully selected products from the world of game fishing.
One of the highlights of The House of Bruar experience, the Gallery houses over 400 creations by more than 60 artists. The Gallery is rapidly establishing itself as the most "comprehensive collection of contemporary rural art ever exhibited in Scotland".
