1 – Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

The hit West End comedy is now on tour. This hilarious production layers joy on joy, joke on joke, in a delightful evening of theatrical absurdity featuring P.G. Wodehouse’s iconic double act. When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker, but also to steal a silver cow creamer from Totleigh Towers. Naturally, the ever-dependable Jeeves is there to prevent Bertie from making a fool of himself in front of a cast of P.G. Wodehouse’s finest characters.

2 – Bond Ball (Saturday)

Mackays Hotel, Union Street, Wick - £55 per head

To celebrate the launch of the new James Bond film, Mackays Hotel are holding a 'Spectre-ular' night of food and entertainment. Your ticket includes a 'shaken, not stirred' drinks reception, 4-course meal fit for celebrity Daniel Craig and dancing the night away with entertainment from Feeva and magician Clive Grewcock. All proceeds from the night will go to SiMB, CSWA and Wick RNLI.

3 – Fireworks and Bonfire (Saturday)

Inchberry Hall, North Field, Fochabers – Free entry

The annual Guy Fawkes celebrations, just in time for the weekend! With free sweeties for the kids, and a bucket collection for donations. A great, family-friendly affair!

4 – Mentallica (Saturday)

The Ironworks, Inverness - £10

Europe’s number one tribute to Metallica, live for the very first time in Inverness! Mentallica is a tribute band to the metal giants, now in its 17th year. With support from local bands Devil's Queen and Fallen Riot.

5 – Salmon of the Blackwater (Saturday)

Silverbridge car park, on the Ullapool road, near Garve - £4 (£3 concession, £11 family)

Explore the Blackwater on this short walk with a chance to see salmon leap the falls and learn how hydro-electric schemes have affected them.
