For a rock legend

A TRUE hard rock hero, Michael Schenker was an early member of German supergroup The Scorpions alongside big brother Rudolf before really making an impact with British band UFO, then going on to lead his own Michael Schenker Group.

He makes his first Inverness appearance at The Ironworks tomorrow with his latest outfit, Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock, a truly international collection of worshippers of loud guitars and heavy riffs that also contains ex-Scorpions Herman Rarebell and Francis Buchholz on drums and bass, Californian Wayne Findlay on guitar and keyboards and, representing the home country, ex-Rainbow vocalist Doogie White from Motherwell.

Schenker will perform tracks from his current studio album Spirit On A Mission plus MSG, UFO and Scorpions rock classics, so long term fans of the German guitar man will have much to look forward to.
