MUSIC weekly NME has said about the newly-released Montage Of Heck documentary coming to Eden Court this weekend "... if you love or have ever loved Nirvana, [it] will leave your head spinning".

The paper gave the fully-authorised documentary about the tragic 90s grunge god’s life a nine out of 10.

First seen at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival back in January, the documentary was made at the invitation of the late rocker’s partner Courtney Love.

Director Brett Morgen was given access to Kurt’s notebooks, tapes and video footage, most of it previously unseen and there are interviews and home footage too.

Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain is executive producer.

With original music and material unheard before, the film is named after a mixtape Cobain made which was available last year and includes clips of songs by Iron Maiden, The Monkees, Black Sabbath, The Beatles and The Jackson Five.

It’s at Eden Court Cinema on Saturday at 8.15pm, Sunday at 7.45pm, Monday at 8pm and Tuesday at 7.15pm.
