Benedict Cumberbatch fans will not have to travel to London to watch the star’s sell-out stage Hamlet performance before it comes to a close at the end of October.
With the Sherlock star in the title role, the Shakespearian classic is London’s fastest-selling theatre production ever – with many queuing for hours to get tickets.
Thanks to Vue’s innovative approach to big screen technology and its partnership with National Theatre and Sony Digital Cinema 4K, fans around the country will get a second chance to watch the hit stage production at Vue cinemas across the country, including Vue Inverness.
Cumberbatch’s performance as the melancholic prince will be streamed live to Vue cinemas from the Barbican, followed by encores exclusively shown in Sony 4K – only at Vue on the 22nd and 29th October. Sony’s ground breaking technology offers a lifelike reproduction of the on stage performance – giving cinema goers the chance to enjoy the immersive spectacle of world class drama locally.
