Starring: Kevin Costner, Amber Heard
Release: Friday June 20
Synopsis: In this heart pounding action-thriller, Kevin Costner is a dangerous international spy, who is determined to give up his high stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, whom he's previously kept at arm's length to keep out of danger. But first, he must complete one last mission- even if it means juggling the two toughest assignments yet: hunting down the world's most ruthless terrorist and looking after his teenage daughter for the first time in ten years, while his wife is out of town.
Why You Should See It: It's time to put on our dumb action goggles again – I only hope you remember where you put them after Pompeii. This is one of those films where everybody IS something, where IS is spoken as if in full-caps. So in this, Kevin Costner IS going to shoot everybody because that's his role. His daughter IS going to question why her dad keeps abandoning her to shoot everybody. And his wife IS going to be out of town. You cannot stop this. This is happening.
However, it's going to be fun at least – and with a script co-written by Luc Besson of Leon (oh alright, and The Fifth Element) fame, it's another of those films that will be nothing less than entertaining to say the least.
