Willberry North of Scotland Championship Show is a brand new show which will take place on 19 and 20 August, 2017, at the Black Isle Show Ground, Muir of Ord.
This will be the first year the show has taken place and hopefully it will be the first of many more to come. The show will have over 60 classes. On the Saturday there will be showing classes, such as Ridden, In-Hand, Mountain & Moorlands and Working Hunter. The main event on the Sunday will be an arena event held in the main ring. There will also be show jumping.
One of the aims of the show is to raise awareness for a special charity called Willberry The Wonder Pony. It will also be held in memory of Hannah Francis, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in August 2016.
Willberry The Wonder Pony is a wonderful charity that helps raise money for bone cancer research and Willberry Wishes. This charity was originally set up for Hannah to raise money to buy a wig for herself, as she had lost her hair due to chemotherapy, as well as vital equipment to aid her in keeping her independence as the cancer slowly stripped this away.
Willberry Wishes was started with the aim to make seriously ill patients' horsey dreams come true and give them some truly memorable equine experiences.
For the show to be a real success we rely upon sponsorships from local organisations. If your company is interested, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can offer many benefits, such as advertisement in exchange.
