RISING indie band Campfires In Winter will be warming up for their Netsounds Unsigned show at Hootananny’s Mad Hatters bar with a special unplugged session in HMV, Inverness at 5pm on Friday 27th September.
The Inverness gig comes on the eve of the release of the band’s Picture of Health EP which is out via Bloc+Music Monday on 30th September 2013 and is the follow up to debut single White Lights.
Over the last few years Campfires In Winter have gained support from BBC 6 Music, Vic Galloway, Jim Gellatly, The Scotsman, The Metro and The Sun as well as appearing at Wickerman Festival, goNorth Festival and Oran Mor as part of Glasgow’s West End Festival alongside the likes of The Twilight Sad and Meursault.
They have also shared stages with R.M. Hubbert, who also appears at Hootananny this evening in an early evening set, as well as The Twilight Sad and Kid Canaveral and have just played King Tut’s Summer Nights alongside Fake Major.
Support for their Netswounds Unsigned show comes from Inverness band Red Ronson.
The 12th Mad Hatters Takeover by Inverness-based podcast Netsounds Unsigned starts at 10pm in Mad Hatters, Inverness immediately after the ticketed R.M. Hubbert gig, which takes place in The Bothy on Hootananny’s top floor.
Takeover #12 is free entry and continues until 3am with a Netsounds DJ set.
