Groove Loch Ness – the one-day dance festival which debuted last year – returns with a Scottish festival exclusive appearance from DJ and producer Duke Dmont and Boys Noize – or German DJ Alexander Ridha – also on the line-up.
This year’s on Saturday, August 20 returning to the site on the banks of Loch Ness also welcomes Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Mark Knight, Glasgow-based Optimo and hot new production/DJ duo Camelphat.
Organisers have also promised a special guest to be announced later this summer to complete the main part of the bill for the event that bills itself as "Scotland’s nightclub under the stars".
Dougie Brown, one of the four partners behind Groove Loch Ness said: "We are delighted to announce the line-up for Groove Loch Ness 2016 – and being able to welcome an amazing selection of DJs to the Highlands again this summer to what is one of the most breathtaking festival settings anywhere in the world.
"After the huge success of our first outing , we can’t wait to recreate some of that magic again this year.

Duke Dumont – guaranteeing hands-in-the-air performance to round off Groove Lock Ness – is best known for his number one singles Need U (100%) and I Got U along with his other summer smash hits Won’t Look Back and Ocean Drive, which stacked up hundreds of millions of streams online.
Boys Noize last performed in the area at RockNess in 2010, and he returns with a new album scheduled for release in April.
Mark Knight is head honcho at Toolroom Records and boasts a career spanning more than a decade with a reputation on both the digital market and dancefloors across the globe.
Duo Optimo sprang from their weekly residency at Glasgow’s iconic Sub Club, a one-time Mixmag Club of the Year with their eclectic taste now influencing the scene’s electronic music trends.
And Camelphat have been quickly earning plaudits from house music’s big-hitters including Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Tensnake, Annie Mac, Steve Angello & Danny Howard to name but a few.
Groove Loch Ness - created as a back to basics dance festival with one main stage with and a strictly 18 and over policy - is managed by four partners who have a long relationship working in the music industry throughout the Highlands – Caroline Campbell (a director of Ironworks venue), Dougie Brown (Belladrum & Ironworks Venue), Sam Barker (Belladrum Festival) and Joe Gibbs (founder of Belladrum Festival & co-founder of Rockness).
Along with Groove Loch Ness, this year the team put together the UK’s first resort based snowsports festival Groove Cairngorm in March.
