In a direct defiance of the Caithness winter (and the inevitable Scotrail cancellations), Hello Future and Kung Fu Jesus will brave the potential frostbite to rock out Thurso next weekend.
The two acts, from Dundee and Lanarkshire respectively, will be playing the Y-Not Bar and Grill on Saturday 29th November from 10pm.
Hello Future tout themselves as an anthemic, chiming mixture of Biffy Clyro and Blink 182's early material – although all that topless rocking may not be wise considering they'll be playing in sub-Arctic temperatures.
Kung Fu Jesus on the other hand promises a psychedelic-pop mashup and a mixture of "The Beta Band meets The Animal Collective meets The Doors”.
Between the two bands, it's set to be a fascinating night of great tunes. Also, it's the day before St Andrew's Day, so you've got a good excuse to enjoy a pint or seven while enjoying these Scottish acts.
