THE Scots Trad Music Awards (Na Trads) launched their search this week for the top traditional and Gaelic music talent of 2014 with winners to be announced at a star-studded gala at Inverness Leisure on Friday, December 13.
A host of stars will be performing on the night including Shooglenifty, Fiddlers Bid, Na h-Òganaich and Ceòl nam Fèis. Tickets are now on sale for the night via www.scotstradmusicawards.com or from Eden Court box office on 01463 234234.
Now in their 12th year, the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, organised by Hands Up For Trad, need public nominations across 16 categories including Gaelic singer of the year, venue of the year, community project of the year and event of the year. Nominations for the awards will be open until Friday, October 17 and can be made on www.surveymonkey.com/s/tradawards2014

Both MG ALBA and Hands Up For Trad are nominated for Na Trads in the Arts and Business Scotland Awards 2014 which will be presented on Friday, October 24.
