AWARD-WINNING "'Queen Of The Fringe" Camille O’Sullivan celebrates her last 10 years performing with old favourites, hidden gems and songs from her recent album Changeling at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, nex Thursday (Oct 30) and Eden Court, Inverness next Friday (Oct 31).

Camille - called Queen Of The Fringe - thanks to her five-star shows over a decade of annual visits to the Edinburgh Fringe, is a unique performer transcending with her chameleon-like unique interpretation as she inhabits each character and makes them - and each song - her own.

Described as an emotional roller-coaster, her performances are sometimes heartrending, occasionally mischievous but exhilarating.

Her voice can range from emotive power to a vulnerable whisper, but the performer can also come over as fierce, but always playful to turn each song into a gripping theatrical experience.

Her shows have included interpretations of the songs by Nick Cave, Jacques Brel, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Bowie, Arcade Fire, backed by her band.

The performance should also include a variety of creatures and characters as well as fire, ice, darkness, joy - and pure passion! 2014 marks a decade of solo performances for Camille at both the Edinburgh Fringe and La Clique - an Australian-based variety/cabaret show in the Famous Spiegeltent in Edinburgh, Brighton, dublin, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, among other locations.

Both festivals launched her career in many directions. She was spotted by Stephen Frears, which lead to Camille being cast in the critically-acclaimed film Mrs. Henderson Presents and at a later fringe she was spotted by the Royal Shakespeare Company for her award-winning starring role in The Rape of Lucrece.

Camille  has also been the cover girl of Time Out London and made her mark on must-see music TV music show Later With Jools Holland in 2009. She later supported him at the Royal Albert Hall.
