Who doesn't love a good cruise? The open seas, drama, romance, a different celebrity guest star every week...wait, hang on, that's the American TV series “The Love Boat”. Either way, cruises are great - a perfect way to relax with some good food, good drink and good entertainment.

Well, Scottish fans of such holidays rejoice! Cruise & Maritime Voyages have announced that their new brochure will include an increased number of departures from our bonnie harbours, up from five this year to 13 in 2014.

Sailing from Rosyth, Glasgow Greenock and Edinburgh Leith, the cruises will take in such fabulous places as Iceland, the fjords of Norway, Russia, and most excitingly of all Shetland!

If you fancy a wee cruise around some of these exotic locations (and Shetland!), whether it be as a family getaway or a romantic trip for two, you can find out more at http://cruiseandmaritime.com. Who knows, you might end up with an experience even better than The Love Boat*!

*probably not though, The Love Boat was incredible and nothing humanity achieves throughout the rest of its existance will ever match it. But to even get within touching distance of such greatness would be something worth treasuring.
