Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary

Scottish SEA LIFE SanctuaryJoin us for a great family day out in the stunning surroundings of Loch Creran. Visit the Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary, home to an aquarium as well as Scotland's leading Seal Hospital.

In our outdoor enclosures you can meet our adorable seals. Watch them during their feeding and training sessions and hear the touching stories behind their rescues. You can then visit Otter Creek to meet our North American otters, Isla and Lewis. This adorable couple really do love to put on a show!

Then it's back to the aquarium where you can enjoy fun talks and feeding demonstrations throughout the day, along with our kids quiz trail, as well as some outdoor fun for the big kids in our Forest Adventure Play Area.

For the conservation lovers among you we have our ongoing research into red squirrel populations across Scotland, which helps us safeguard the population of native endangered red squirrels. So while you explore our Nutkins' Nature Trail, keep your eyes peeled for these amazing creatures foraging for food! We also have our Turtle Sanctuary which provides a home and care for vulnerable freshwater turtles, along with our Seal Hospital where we rescue, rehabilitate and release many seal pups every year. See if there are any pups in the hospital during your visit!

Once you have experienced all this you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved break in our Shoreline Coffee Shop where you can relax and unwind with a hot drink and a piece of delicious cake and take in the stunning views of Loch Creran.
