EDEN Court’s chapel is to host a set of intimate shows with promoters Beyond Presents showcasing new rising music discoveries.

The two organisations will be working together on the UNCOVERED series.

And Robert Hicks of Beyond Presents said: "I’d been looking for the right small intimate space in Inverness for years.

"And after meeting the theatre’s CEO Colin Marr at the end of last year and visiting the chapel, it was one of those eureka moments. I’m really excited to be working with Eden Court on this project."

Colin Marr said: "We’ve worked with Robert on a small number of events over the last few years and he has brought many ‘unknown’ artists to the Highlands who have gone onto become household names.

"They include Paolo Nutini, Mumford and Sons, Jake Bugg, Biffy Clyro, Amy Macdonald, Ben Howard and Emeli Sande.

"So we are delighted to be working with him on this series of concerts.

He added: "The chapel is a beautiful space within Eden Court which does not get seen by nearly enough people – this series will help the audience discover some great new artists and also a little corner of Eden Court that they might not have seen before."

The first two shows to be announced for the chapel’s 40-seat space are George Cosby (Friday, April 15) and Tiny Ruins (Friday, May 13)

Robert Hicks said: "The chapel is a great place for a special, intimate performance from these rising stars."
