SCOTTISH duo Love Sick will stop off at four North venues on their tour next month.
The duo from Glasgow and Stirling first met while working in life insurance call centres in their separate cities, brought together by the office Christmas party.
Julie says she told Shaun she had always wanted to be a singer and when they bumped into each other again a few weeks later in a Glasgow station, their next steps to a musical future were taken.
While Shaun was fixated on 50s and 60s music, from Dylan’s lyricism to The Beatles’ hooks, Julie was in love with female pop stars of the here and now, from Lana Del Ray and Florence to Amy Winehouse.
In Shaun’s home studio – he was already a producer – he discovered Julie was the perfect vocalist and collaborator to bounce ideas off.
Expect to hear last autumn's debut Bullet at dates including Drummonds, Aberdeen, on Wednesday April 25; Mad Hatters, Inverness, on Thursday, April 26; The Drouthy Cobbler, Elgin, on Friday, April 27 and The Arch Inn, Ullapool, on Saturday, April 28.
