LONDON electronica trio Years & Years are to include Inverness venue The Ironworks on their 2016 UK tour.

After winning BBC Sound of 2015 in January this year, they achieved a number 1 single with the track King and a number 2 with Shine. Their debut album Communion entered the UK chart at number 1.

They come to Inverness on Monday 28th March.

Tickets go on sale Friday, 16th October, at 10am.

Also on sale at the same time are tickets for a special charity fundraiser in aid of Macmillan and The Cancer General Fund for Raigmore Hospital.

Back For Good at The Ironworks on Sunday 27th December will featuring some of Inverness’ finest bands from yesteryear reforming for one night only.

They are 3-piece pop punk band JETSTAR (1997-2004), Railway Club era stalwarts LYMERICK SMITH, THE LUSH ROLLERS, whose decade long career began in late 1997, but reformed fpr an emotional reunion at Belladrum Festival in 2010, and FINDO GASK, who burst onto the local scene in 2003 and went on to have success supporting Biffy Clyro, InMe and Frank Turner.

Also on the bill will be Highland’ party band THE MYSTIC SHOES, along with a DJ set from NETSOUNDS and a special guest act to be announced in due course.
