In Your Element

In Your Element has been offering amazing outdoor activity experiences across Scotland since 2004.

We offer a huge range of scheduled activities near Inverness & Loch Ness, Aviemore, Loch Tay and Loch Lomond. These activity sessions are best suited to small groups, families and independent travellers.

We run family-friendly canoe trips on Loch Ness from the picturesque village of Fort Augustus, from July to September. With short 1-hour taster sessions for families with younger children, this is a great way to try your hand at Nessie-spotting. We also have 2.5-hour explorer tours giving you the chance to get right out on to Loch Ness, explore where the rivers Tarff and Oich meet the loch and take a short walk to a hidden waterfall.

At Aviemore on the wonderful Rothiemurchus Estate there is TreeZone Aerial Adventure Course for anyone over 7 years old, target archery, off-road Segways, canoeing on the beautiful Loch an Eilein, and beginner's gorge walking in Glen Feshie. All these activities can be booked online to help make it easy for you to join in the fun.

We also have a mountain bike hire shop at Inverdruie (just outside Aviemore), giving you direct access to the superb choice of trails on the Rothiemurchus Estate. We have adult and children's bikes, trailers and tag-a-longs for hire.

For larger groups, we also offer activity-based sessions just about anywhere in Scotland. Whether you are part of a team at work, stag or hen group, school groups, a fundraising group looking for a challenge, or you're having a big family gathering, we may have something for you.

From a mini-Highland Games, to a guided canoe expedition on the River Spey or Great Glen Canoe Trail, gorge swimming or fun team challenges, there is something for everyone. If you're looking for ideas for a day out or multi-day adventure, give us a call or email us.

Although some of our activities are only available in the summer, we can offer most activities all year round.
