Founded in 1889, Golspie Golf Club has enjoyed a rich history of involvement in the game, with an attractive course that offers an enjoyable challenge to all levels of golfer.
The club is located just south of the village of Golspie, along the road to Littleferry, and the clubhouse area has ample parking for members and visitors and offers an opportunity to play the game over a course that does not suffer from congestion.
The course offers a rare mixture of links, heathland and parkland which, combined with views to the hills and out over the Dornoch Firth, results in a unique golfing experience. The course has been upgraded and extended in recent years and, once visited, will almost certainly draw you back time after time.
Dan Murphy, noted golf journalist and editor of NCG, summed it up perfectly when he wrote: "This course is beautifully presented with as much variety as you could ever wish for. The welcome you receive at Golspie is as warm and genuine as anywhere in the land."
When Golspie hosted the qualifying rounds for The Amateur Championship the Times of London described it as a "jewel".
Off-course facilities include a restaurant that provides a comprehensive menu in a dining venue with superb views over the sea. There is also a well-stocked shop where a variety of merchandise offers a choice of mementos of a visit to Golspie.
