Nourish, Inverness

At Nourish café we put health at the heart of all that we do, serving wholesome 'real food' which is sourced locally and organically where possible.

We are passionate about nutrition and whole foods, and we aim to offer a broad choice for those who have dietary restrictions, whether these restrictions are imposed by health or by choice.

Our menu is 99% vegan and 100% vegetarian, and nearly everything we offer can be served gluten free. We have a wide selection of home-baked cakes, with many dietary variations (e.g. sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, vegan etc.).

Unlike so many eateries in the Highlands we don't offer traditional Scottish food. Instead, we source inspiration for our delicious and nutritious ever-changing menu from all around the world, often using spices which are known for their specific beneficial health properties, as well as wild herbs which have been foraged locally.

We also serve really great coffee – organic, triple-certified and made properly – and offer a wide variety of plant-based milks for folks who don't do dairy.

Our natural interest in wellbeing works well alongside the therapies at the Highland Wellness Centre, which sits above the café, and where an array of natural health treatments are available.

We vary our opening hours according to the seasons – 7 days a week in summer and fewer days in winter. We always offer breakfast and lunch, with some evening openings in the height of the summer season.
