Our menus are all about great quality, locally sourced food that change with the seasons. Lunch and dinner are deeply rooted in everyone's favourite classics showcasing pies, sustainable fish and locally farmed steaks.
In December 2018 we installed a charcoal oven to ensure the most delicious barbecue flavours in some of our food. We also have a selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes and can cater for gluten free diets and allergies.
Our team are dab hands at producing delicious desserts like sticky toffee pudding and Sunday Sundaes – so make sure you leave room! At lunchtime pop in for a quick pie and a pint or sit back and relax with a bottle of red wine at supper.
We've also introduced a Sunday Brunch menu that is gaining a reputation in the area and is worth the trip alone. Served from 11am until 4pm it includes Eggs Benedict, pancakes and a selection of roasts for sharing family-style, or just for yourself.
Afternoon teas are served in the Spirits Safe or Toots Bar and boast home-made cakes, scones and sandwiches washed down with a choice of tea or coffee from as little as £16.50pp.
As a nod to our location, the hotel boasts a whisky wall and an impressive selection of over 500 whiskies including some rare and vintage malts in our Spirits Safe. In Toots Bar you'll find a copper tap to add your own drop of water to your dram. Cocktails and an impressive spirits and wine list have been carefully chosen and served by our talented team.
