Cherri Fosphate pop back to Mad Hatters

By SPP Reporter

GLASGOW indie rock band Cherri Fosphate make a return to Inverness for a headline show at Mad Hatters on Friday 30th October.

Support comes from new Inverness pop-punk band All So Simple.

Cherri Fosphate formed in 2012 with the aim of bringing the stripped back, no-frills rock and roll influences of New York’s music scene to Scotland.

Comprising Jonny Sharpe (vocals and guitar), Alan Robinson (lead guitar), Jordan Lannigan (bass) and Sonny Kainth (drums), Cherri Fosphate released debut EP Burning Youth in 2013 and have made festival appearances at Belladrum, Tartan Heart, goNorth and Brew at the Bog.

Their debut album, We Didn’t Come Here To Say Goodbye, is set for release on 20th November 2015 and includes live favourites, Lady Aniseed Hijacked My Car, Losing Teeth and Wool.

This is an early evening gig; doors open at 8pm with music starting at 8.30pm.
