Digital Light, the first new music to emerge from the British alt-rockers since 2018, is released today (Friday) and went straight to number one in the iTunes Rock Chart.

Hunter & The Bear were due to embark on their first UK-wide tour since May 2019, from March 24 to April 3.

The shows have now been rescheduled to September 2020 in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis. In a joint statement, the band said: "Due to the ongoing and ever-changing health situation in the UK and as per government advice the decision has been made to postpone our tour due

"We are gutted to not be playing these shows as we were so excited to show you what we’ve been working on.

"But the safety of everyone participating from you guys through to our crew and venue staff is paramount. We have been busy working behind the scenes to reschedule all dates for this September.

"We want to thank everyone who pre-bought tickets. Your continued support is truly humbling. Stay safe and see you all soon, Love Will, Gareth, Chris, and John."

The rescheduled live Inverness Ironworks date is now Friday, September 18.
