November return to Inverness for Gordon James And The Power

By Margaret Chrystall

NORTH band Gordon James And The Power will headline in Inverness for the third time in November.

The band – which formed in 2017 and is now a five-piece – will be headlining the Ironworks on November 28.

When they first formed in Speyside, Gordon James And The Power quickly gathered a following throughout the north and brought out their self-titled EP in November of that year, produced by Mark Morrow and Justin Paul Hill. Gathering radio plays and reviews from Scottish unsigned band scene champion, Jim Gellatly, they also went on to tour Scotland and Norway.

In 2019, the band released new music, and played festivals and gigs including Belladrum, XpoNorth, Bute Fest, Jocktoberfest, Camden Rocks Presents and Glenfiddich Experiment #3.

They started 2020 on a high, chosen to support Tom Walker. They recently joined the Sofathon Singalong line-up.

Find £5 pre-sale tickets via their Facebook and email on Friday, April 24 at 9am for two weeks, then £8 tickets on sale from May 8.
