THE exciting Glasgow eight-piece Tom McGuire & The Brassholes have just been announced for the Ironworks in Inverness on Wednesday, May 15.

The eclectic, modern-soul-funk band started out busking on Sauchiehall and Buchanan Street during the 2014 Commonwealth Games. But by January they were playing a sold-out album launch show at the QMU in Glasgow as part of Celtic Connections.

Headed by keen skater and" lumberjack-attired soul bearer" Tom McGuire, the collective of “killer animals from hell” has earned a reputation as a colourful, hilarious, talented bunch of guys.

One of Scotland’s most vibrant live acts, their festival calendar is filling up fast for 2019, though they also have their UK tour in May supporting the debut album.

Tickets are now on sale at Ironworks box office or at www.ironworksvenue.com.
