Britain's Got Talent star Jai McDowall will sing for the first time in Elgin on January 31

BRITAIN’S’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall comes to Elgin Town Hall next month.

The singer first burst onto TV screens in 2011 and the Ayrshire-born 33-year-old won the fifth series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Since then, Jai has been busy appearing on The Royal Variety Performance, China’s Got Talent, Mad About The Musicals and Les Musicals with Jonathan Ansell. On Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, he recently performed Lady Gaga’s hit from A Star is Born, I’ll Never Love Again which received standing ovations from all the judges.

Jai looks forward to his Elgin debut on January 31: “I’m excited about my first show there. I’ve heard great things and also that North fans are brilliant.”
