Ironworks braced for flood of Wet Wet Wet fans as Clydebank rockers responsible for number one singles including Goodnight Girl and Love is All Around set for Inverness concert

LOVE is going to be all around Inverness this November – as Scottish pop stars Wet Wet Wet come to the Ironworks.

The number one-selling band – currently lining up as original band members Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham and Neil Mitchell alongside former Liberty X singer and The Voice UK winner Kevin Simm – will play the city venue on Sunday, November 10.

The band are best known for their 1994 cover of The Troggs’ song Love is All Around, which became a massive international success – including a 15-week period at the top of the UK singles charts.

Forming in 1982 with original frontman Marti Pellow – who left the band in 2017 to pursue solo interests – the band have had two other UK chart-topping singles: their cover of the Beatles’ With a Little Help from My Friends and Goodnight Girl.

The band have also had three albums and a Greatest Hits collection that hit the top spot.

In total. Wet Wet Wet have sold more than 15 million records to date and played to more than four million people around the world.
