By Margaret Chrystall

SCOTTISH comedian Daniel Sloss returns to Inverness with an Ironworks date on Sunday, October 6.

Recent successes have included his hit Netflix specials DARK and Jigsaw which have been available in 190 countries and available in 26 languages.

Currently making headlines around the world with his 10th solo show, Daniel Sloss: X has already performed it more than 200 times across more than 30 countries.

Just a reminder of the track record of the stand up who began his career at a precocious 14 years old.

He has appeared on top American talk show Conan a record eight times, sold out his shows across 11 consecutive Edinburgh Fringe seasons (the world’s biggest arts festival where he’s been one of the biggest comedy ticket sellers for the past nine years).

Daniel has also over the years featured on Comedy Central’s Roast Battles and Drunk History, the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, ITV1’s Sunday Night At The Palladium, made a BBC sitcom pilot and released his first DVD for BBC WorldWide aged 19.

His online stand-up clips have received well over five million views.

Daniel has performed four solo off-Broadway seasons including 30 New York performances in February.

In the past, Daniel has revealed he enjoys appearing in Inverness.

"I have family from Thurso, so they all come down to that gig.

“And because of my dad being from there, there’s my supposedly Caithness accent, so I get to talk to people who sound like me!”

The latest show has strong adult themes and is strictly 16+.

Special guest is Kai Humphries.

Tickets go on sale on Friday from 10am. More: www.DanielSloss.com
