Glasgow stand up comic Susie McCabe to bring belief and bellylaughs to Lyth and Ullapool with new comedy show Born Believer

By Kyle Walker

GLASGOW comedy star Susie McCabe is set to bring her latest show on a tour across Scotland – with dates lined up in Ross-shire and Caithness.

The fastest-selling act at Glasgow International Comedy Festival for three years running, Susie brings new show Born Believer to the Ceilidh Place, Ullapool on Friday, October 11 before travelling further north to Lyth Arts Centre on Saturday, October 12.

In her 40th year, Susie has decided to leave cynicism behind to be an all-new positive Susie – “optimistic at best, positive at pushing it”.

Susie can regularly be found compering and headlining at top comedy clubs all over Scotland such as the Stand and Jongleurs. Susie has also supported the likes of Ardal O'Hanlon, Zoe Lyons and Stewart Francis on his National tour.

Susie has completed two solo runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and has four sell out shows at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF) under her belt.

Susie was the first performer in 2017 to sell out at the comedy fest, making her one of the fastest selling acts in the event's history.

Tickets for all shows are available now from www.beyondpresents.com. For more info, go to www.susiemccabecomedy.com
