Aberdeen date of Ru Paul's Drag Race tour postponed

By Kirsty Brown

Amid continued social distancing guidelines and travel bans, Voss Events and World Of Wonder have decided to postpone the European dates of their Ru Paul's Drag Race Werq The World tour.

This included a performance in Aberdeen's P and J Live arena, which was expected to take place on May 6.

The show is now expected to take place on September 5.

Organisers said: "At Voss Events and World of Wonder, there is no higher priority than the health and wellbeing of our patrons, artists and employees.

"We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and believe it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone this year’s European tour.

"RuPaul's Drag Race Werq The World will now take place at P and J Live Aberdeen on September 5.

"The best news is, you don’t have to do a single thing - all tickets will be automatically transferred to the new show date.

"Now go wash your hands and we’ll see you later this year so we can all enjoy the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent in the safest environment possible!"
